Welcome to Zambia

Safari experience where walking, water, and wildlife come together.

Zambia is a destination for travellers who want a safari that feels unhurried, immersive, and deeply connected to the land. It’s widely regarded as one of the best places in Africa for walking safaris, where you slow things down and experience wildlife on foot, guided by expert local knowledge. From canoe safaris along the Zambezi River to close encounters with predators such as lions and leopards, Zambia offers a raw and rewarding safari experience that feels refreshingly natural.

It’s also home to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, where visitors can appreciate the scale and beauty of the Falls from the Zambian side, often with fewer crowds. Combined with strong wildlife sightings and excellent value, Zambia is ideal for travellers seeking authenticity over formality.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Zambia is during the dry season, with July and August widely considered the golden window. During this period, Victoria Falls is still powerful and dramatic, but the spray has eased enough to allow clear views and photography. Wildlife viewing is excellent, as animals congregate along the Zambezi River, with large elephant herds frequently seen crossing the water. As the season moves into September and October, temperatures rise sharply—often exceeding 40°C—but this is when wildlife sightings reach their peak, as dry conditions and thinning vegetation make predators like lions and leopards easier to spot.
