What happens during the four days?

Day 1: arrive and settle in

Your guide meets you at Victoria Falls Airport and transfers you to your accommodation. Keeping the same base for all three nights makes the trip straightforward and gives you time to settle before the main activities begin.

Day 2: walk through the rainforest and cruise the Zambezi

After breakfast, your guide leads you through the Victoria Falls rainforest. The experience is physical in the best possible sense: the sound of the water, cool spray on your skin and rainbows forming in the mist all reveal why this is known locally as the Smoke That Thunders.

Later, the pace changes completely. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi River gives you the chance to drift with a chilled drink, look for hippos and elephants along the banks and watch the sky turn gold and crimson over the water.

Day 3: see the Falls from above

The Flight of Angels helicopter flight shows you the scale and shape of Victoria Falls in a way that is difficult to understand from ground level. The aerial view brings together the river, the falling water and the Batoka Gorge as one landscape.

The afternoon is left open. The itinerary suggests a visit to the local craft market or an optional adventure such as white-water rafting at additional cost. That free time also gives us room to shape the day around your energy and interests.

Day 4: a relaxed departure

After a final breakfast, there may be time for last-minute souvenir shopping before your transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport, depending on the confirmed flight schedule.
